A parish is a community of people united by and for the singular purpose of brining the message of Christ into the world. It is a joyful community precisely because, though we would each preach the Gospel of Jesus even if we were alone in doing so, it is a supreme joy to be able to preach the Gospel together in fellowship.
October 31, 2021 – Tithing and Evangelization
Tithing is a healthy spiritual practice. A stagnation of our parish budget means we are no longer preaching the Gospel.

The Church is calling each of us to take personal responsibility for the mission of the Lord and to “give them some food ourselves.”
