Let us pray for the grace to do the hard thing, because it is in these little sufferings and sacrifices that we will find our closeness to Jesus. That we will find our salvation.

Our penances during this season, and our practices of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, will give us victory in the battle against spiritual evils and will guarantee that we grow ever closer to Jesus.
