Nothing will make you as happy as following the Law of God. Nothing will ever bring you greater joy or fulfillment than loving the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and loving your neighbor as yourself.
About These Homilies
The homilies below are notes. They are my preparation for preaching. Sometimes they are complete texts, sometimes they are outlines, but they always differ from the delivered message. I write these out so that I can practice, and in practicing they often improve. Still, these are often the only physical copy I have of my various homilies, so I have chosen to post them here for reference.
The various and sundry other topics that may be addressed here are my opinions alone, and do not reflect the official position of my parish, my Archdiocese, or any other Catholic body beyond myself.

Remember, do not rejoice because the spirits are subject to you. Rejoice instead because your names are written in Heaven.
