Today Mary gives us an example of perfect Christian prayer. The beautiful phrase from the Gospel is “And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.” Let’s try to unpack this.

The Lord is a great restorer of all things. Ask for his presence, pray for his coming, and let him heal whatever is troubling you today.

No matter who the President is, no matter what the rest of society is doing, no matter what state our country is in, we are Catholic, and we do what God has asked us to do: preach Jesus Christ in our words and in our actions.

Salvation is uniting ourselves to Jesus, who has already united himself with us.
